Olivia Munn is in talks to join the cast of MORTDECAI alongside, Johnny Depp (assuming he’s not retiring), Gwyneth Paltrow and Ewan McGregor. The story centers on an eccentric art dealer (Depp) who discovers the code to a bank account full of Nazi gold.
No word on what specific role Munn will play.
Eric Aronson wrote the script based on the “The Mortdecai Trilogy” written by Kyril Bonfigliol.
Munn has transitioned from her TV hosting days (“Attack The Show”) to roles in movies (“Iron Man 2”, “Magic Mike”) and has sort of circled back into TV hosting by currently playing one on Sorkin’s “The Newsroom.” She’ll next appear in “Beware the Night.”
She is repped by CAA.
