Orlando Bloom has officially joint the cast of Peter Jackson’s THE HOBBIT and will reprise his role as Elven Legolas in the-two part feature. The prequel to “The Lord of the Rings” follows the adventures of Bilbo Baggins, a hobbit from Middle Earth, who ventures deep into the heart of Lonely Mountain in search for a treasure guarded by a dragon. Both films will be in 3D and the first is expected to hit the silver screen late in 2012.
