A new season and yet another new country awaits Jamie and Claire in Season 4 of OUTLANDER, as revealed in the first teaser trailer for the Starz adaptation.
The premium cable network released the first teaser for the next season of the Sam Heugha-Caitriona Balfe fantasy romance series immediately following the conclusion of the Season 3 finale, wasting no time in reassuring fans that Jamie and Claire’s story will continue.
After Scotland, France and Jamaica, the reunited couple are headed for the newly independent United States.
Following the events of Voyager, the third book in Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander book series, Jamie and Claire were shipwrecked on the shores of Georgia and in the first preview of Season 4, based on the novel Drums of Autumn, the couple discuss making yet another new life for themselves, this time in America.
If the show follows as closely to the book as it has in the first three seasons, Season 4 will see Jamie and Claire settle in North Carolina while their daughter Brianna (Sophie Skelton), still in the 20th century with Roger (Richard Rankin), will find reason to go through the Stones herself to reunite with her mother and finally meet her father for the first time.
Outlander will return in 2018 with 13 new episodes. See the first Season 4 teaser below.
