Works with the EVP, Physical Production & Administration and SVP, Physical Production and their Coordinators. As directed, advises production personnel of WB policies and procedures.
Candidate should have excellent proofreading & writing skills, organizational skills & possess ability to prioritize tasks.
Candidate must be extremely organized, be comfortable juggling multiple projects, have superior phone & people skills, be an excellent written and oral communicator.
Script readers help us decide which scripts to advance through our competition and provide valuable feedback to the writers who submit to us.
Requires managing a very high volume of day-to-day materials, appointments, incoming emails and requests.
Responsibilities include writing coverages and more. Candidates should have some prior experience with script coverage.
The ideal candidate has 8 – 10+ years as a literary scout, has management experience in a multi-person scouting or literary affairs department, book fair experience, and deep relationships with editors/publishers, publishing agents, and Film/TV agents.

Read and write coverage of incoming creative materials and writer’s samples. Track both internal and external projects in development at production companies, studios and/or competing networks.
Aid in preparing & proofreading presentations, pitch decks, creative documents & correspondence.
Organize and maintain heavy filing system, databases, and reports using Word and Excel requiring a high level of detail and organization.
Interacts with clients, gaining exposure to Film development & production.
