Paleyfest 2015 is in full swing, with an incredible line-up this year of some of our favorite shows. Today, the Comedy Central panel celebrating Broad City, Key & Peele, Kroll Show, Review, and Workaholics will commence at 12:00 PM PST, and we’ll be in attendance. As fans of the series, we have a few questions that we’re eager to ask the show’s creators and stars about the future.
Warning: Spoilers Below
1. Who Will Guest Star In Upcoming Episodes?
Comedy Central has been delivering a number of surprising guest stars recently. This season, we’ve seen Ben Stiller as the landlord and Jack Black as Adam’s father/brother on Workaholics, and Seth Rogen as Abbi’s hookup buddy on Broad City. Who else are we going to see? There have been rumors that Amy Poehler could be reprising her character from the first season of Broad City. Whoever they have in mind, it is always a hilarious surprise.
2. Will Illana and Lincoln Start Dating On Broad City?
Abbi and Ilana have both had their bizarre and interesting moments with men (Would you have pegged Jeremy?), but Ilana has been guilty of stringing along Lincoln. Let’s face it, she does have a pretty sweet deal going with free dental checkups, but who else would be alright with her being on Skype with Abbi while they were hooking up? I think she’s found a keeper.
3. Will Wizard Rap Return On Workaholics?
Season one of Workaholics introduced the world of Wizard Rap in a big way. Adam, Blake and Anders were practicing to participate in a rap competition, in wizard costumes and all. This was derailed when Adam decided to participate in a strong man competition. Not to mention, the three have actually released a full length Wizard Rap LP in real life. We need more.
4. Will We See Liam Neeson on Key and Peele?
Among the many hilarious characters that the team have created are two valet parking attendants that have a love for action films, particularly the ones starring Liam Neeson. We were teased when Neeson appeared in a commercial with the two as a promo for a film. That would take the sketch on the show to further heights if he appeared to share his particular set of comic skills.
5. Will We See A Series Crossover?
The characters of each Comedy Central series have their own universes in tone. However, who could deny that they would be excited for a crossover. With Kroll Show ended, this could provide an opportunity for him to bring one of his characters to another show. Imagine the Broad City girls attending a party at the Workaholics guys’ house. Please, at least let them guest star on some of each others shows.
