Paramount Picks Up “The Gun Show” Spec From Hit List Alum Lucas Carter

The Gun Show centers on a star cop who, after being involved in a huge shootout, wakes up after 20 years to find himself in 2016. He gets back into the game and is out to find who killed his own partner. Considering a lot has changed in 20 years, his partner’s risk-averse son helps him find his way through the 21st century.

Starting off as an assistant to , Carter eventually became the senior vice president of film and for Intrigue. He also wrote the drama Inland Empire which was acquired by Universal Cable Production.
