Lauren Graham is set to star in MGM’s MAX. The story follows a Belgian Shepherd Malinois military dog who returns from active service in Afghanistan traumatized by his handler’s death. Erratic and dangerous, Max is adopted by the bereaved family and bonds with the marine’s troubled 14-year old brother. Together they unravel the secret behind his brother’s death and pull the family back together. Graham will play the woman who has lost her eldest son to war and now has to help her youngest son heal. She joins Josh Wiggins, Thomas Haden Church and Jay Hernandez.
Graham is well known for her two TV series “Gilmore Girls” and “Parenthood” and also for her roles in “Evan Almighty” and “Because I Said So.” Her upcoming projects include a role in “Merry Friggin’ Christmas” with Robin Williams and writing the TV series “Someday Someday Maybe,” based on her debut novel of the same name.
Graham is repped by ICM and John Carrabino Management.
