Yesterday, we reported that comedy spec PARENT’S NIGHT has moved up the ladder at New Line and other big territories had ome off the table.
Now we hear that more buyers are circling.
- Imagine Entertainment into Universal.
- Vinson Films into Warner Bros.
- Thunder Road Pictures into Paramount and DreamWorks.
The project, penned by Scott Rothman, is out from Christopher Till and Bill Zotti at CAA and Joseph Goldberg and Aaron Kaplan at Kaplan/Perrone. Story is pitched as “Project X” with grown ups, and centers on a group of parents who throw a house party when their kids leave town on an overnight field trip.
