Oscar-nominated actor Paul Giamatti is attached to star alongside Kathryn Hahn in PRIVATE LIFE at Netflix. The feature drama follows an author (Hahn) is undergoing multiple fertility therapies to get pregnant, putting her relationship with her husband on edge. Giamatti will play her husband who has been struggling with his wife for years to start a family.
Tamara Jenkins, whose previous work includes Savages and Slums of Beverly Hills is set to write and direct the film. Anthony Bregman will produce alongside Stefanie Azpiazu.
Giamatti was most recently seen on the big screen in the sci-fi thriller Morgan. He currently stars in Showtime’s Billions and serves as Executive Producer of the WGN drama Outsiders.
