Penelope Cruz and Diane Kruger are are circling co-starring roles in Isabel Coixet’s THIS MAN, THIS WOMAN. The drama, written by Frederic Raphael, follows a divorced couple struck by tragedy who find themselves seated next to each other on an airplane, where they rekindle their relationship as they reminisce about what went wrong.
Cruz will play Martha Parks, the principle female lead and former flame of Matt Heller. Kruger will play Kirsty Sachs, a talk show host who engages in an affair with the once married man.
Mike Lobell is slated to produce with Nadine De Barros and Robert Ogden Barnum serving as executive producers.
Spanish leading lady, Penelope Cruz, can soon be seen in the comedy Grimsby directed by Louis Leterrier and will co-produce the still undre wraps project, Ma Ma, along side writer-director Julio Medem.
Kruger, best known for her roles in Inglorious Bastards and National Treasure, has a very busy year ahead of her. She will star in the thriller Close Protection, Fathers And Daughters, as well as Sky, which she is currently filming.
