Dramedy PEOPLE YOU MAY KNOW has cast a trio of actors in lead roles including Nick Thune, Halston Sage, and Kaily Smith Westbrook. The was co-written by Sherwin Shilati and Michael Mohan and will be directed by Shilati.
Thune stars as a 30-something introvert who, after abstaining from social media his adult life, is convinced that he doesn’t exist if he’s not online. When filling out his profiles, he realizes the life he can fake is much more interesting than the one he actually leads.
Shelley Stevens is producing with Red Ladders. They are joined executive producers Once Upon A Time Productions and YayBig Productions. Bella Donna Productions will associate produce.
Thune and company join previously cast Nick Rutherford, Gillian Alexy, Carly Chaikin, and Ian Harding.
Thune will next be seen on screen in Dave Made A Maze, while Sage was most recently seen in this year’s Goosebumps and Paper Towns.
Sage is repped by CAA and Roar, Thune by CAA and 3 Arts Entertainment, and Westbrook is repped by Brillstein Entertainment.
