The film centers around Del, played by Dinklage, who finds his innermost fantasies of seclusion realized when the rest of humanity is wiped out in a mysterious incident. But then a second survivor, played by Fanning, arrives and threatens to disrupt his newfound sense of order.
Automatik’s Fred Berger and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones produce alongside Makowsky and Dinklage and David Ginsberg through their Estuary banner. Exhibit’s Fernando Loureiro and Roberto Vasconcellos will produce and finance the film. IM Global is overseeing foreign sales as they bring the project to AFM next month and will co-represent domestic rights with CAA and WME.
Dinklage is best known for his role as Tyrion Lannister on HBO’s flagship series Game of Thrones and will next be seen in the films Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and Rememory.
Fanning can be seen in the upcoming 20th Century Women and Live by Night, and recently boarded Sofia Coppola’s The Beguiled.
