Peter Stormare and Kerry Bishé have joined the cast of the upcoming sci-fi thriller RUPTURE. They will join Noomi Rapace in the story following a struggling single mother who is abducted by a mysterious organization, where she learns how to access previously untapped special abnormal abilities. Michael Chiklis joined the cast last week as a point man of the organization that captures Rapace. BAFTA-nominated actress Lesley Manville and Orphan Black’s Ari Millen have also joined the ensemble. Written by Brian Nelson, the project is based on an idea that was conceived by Nelson and Steven Shainberg, who is set to direct. AMBI Pictures and its co-founders Andrea Iervolino and Lady Monika Bacardi are producing the film alongside American Sniper producer Andrew Lazar.
Perhaps most well known for his role in the film Fargo, Stormare was last seen in the comedy sequel 22 Jump Street, and will next star in upcoming sci-fi thriller False Memory Syndrome.
Known for her role on the AMC series Halt and Catch Fire, Bishé has appeared in the films Argo and Grand Pianom and will next be seen in the upcoming drama The Ticket.
Stormare is repped by ICM and Silver Lining Entertainment. Bishé is repped by WME and Brookside Artist Management.
