RED WIDOW has added Pedro Pascal and Fernanda Andrade to its cast in recurring roles. Pascal will be featured in the mob drama as Joe Crumb, a tattoo artist deeply in love with Jaime Ray Newman’s character, Kat, but who cannot commit to a relationship because of her connections with the mob. He is repped by Innovative Artists and can currently be seen in the series “Body Of Proof”. Andrade will play a drug-addicted former agent named Eva Ramos. She starred in this year’s horror pic “The Devil Inside”. She is repped by Genesis Entertainment.
Katherine Tokarz will be featured in the upcoming comedy THE NEIGHBORS, a series about an upscale community populated by aliens disguised as humans. Tokarz will play an alien named Mary Lou Retton. She currently stars in the ABC series “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23” and is repped by Gartner/Green Entertainment.
Michael Gaston has joined the cast of the war-set drama LAST RESORT. The series follows a submarine crew chased by its own government when it rebukes commands to launch nuclear missiles. Gaston, who is repped by APA, will play Aurumn Reeser’s character’s father, an influential man who can pull strings in Washington.
Kimberly Williams-Paisley will have a multi-episode role in NASHVILLE, a drama set against the backdrop of the Nashville music scene. Williams-Paisley will play a character named Peggy Samper, an old romantic interest of former co-worker Teddy Conrad, the husband of Rayna Jaymes (Connie Britton in a starring role along with Hayden Panettiere. Williams-Paisley, who is married to Country star Brad Paisley, currently stars in the USA series “Royal Pains”. She is repped by Kritzer Levine Wilkins Griffin Nilon Entertainment and CAA.
666 PARK AVENUE has added Tessa Thompson to its cast in the role of Laurel Harris, a media consultant with the inside scoop on politics in New York City. The show follows a couple who take on the management duties of a mysterious apartment in Manhattan. Thompson’s past work includes “Veronica Mars” and “Private Practice” and she is currently starring in the BBC series “Copper”. She is repped by Greene & Associates Talent Agency.
Charley Koontz will be joining the cast of ROYAL PAINS. The actor will play Hank and Evan’s lovable yet overweight cousin. Koontz currently has roles on “Community” and “Awake” and is repped by Pakula/King & Associates.

Vera Farmiga has been cast as the female lead in the upcoming horror drama BATES HOTEL. The show, which will serve as a prequel to Alfred Hitchcock’s classic horror pic “Psycho”, examines the relationship between killer Norman Bates and his mother, Norma, who Farmiga will play and is described as passionate, compelling and smart. Carlton Cuse and Kerry Ehrin serve as the show’s writers and executive producers. Farmiga is repped by CAA.

Vinessa Shaw and Michael Wiseman have been added to the cast of the crime drama VEGAS. Shaw will play casino owner Vincent Savino’s wife. She recently starred in Universal’s family pic “Big Miracle” and is repped by ICM. Wiseman will play a character named Joey Rizzo, Chicago criminal Angelo Lombardi’s right-hand man who is described as having a short temper. Wiseman’s past TV work includes “The Mentalist”, “Prison Break” and “Lie To Me”. He is repped by Pakula/King & Associates.
Rebecca Breeds has landed in Rob Greenberg’s untitled single camera comedy seres in a leading female role. The project will mark the Aussie thesp’s first American television role and will star her alongside Chris Smith, Kal Penn and Tony Shalhoub. The centers around a man (who finds unexpected camaraderie with the older and more experienced men living in his complex, including Penn and Shalhoub. Breed’s will play Shalhoub’s character’s daughter, a beautiful yet neurotic girl who tries to cope with the issues that have arose from her father’s poor parenting. Breeds is repped by IFA and previously starred in the Australian series “Home And Away”.
Cinemax
William Petersen will most likely be leaving the Cinemax series “Hurt People”, which he was originally set to star in and executive produce. Peterson would have played the lead role of a veteran hitman whose hired by the crime family that killed his wife. There’s not word as to who would take over his role if he does in fact end up departing the series.

Julia Ormond has been tapped to star in the pilot for the network’s upcoming series WITCHES OF EAST END. Based on Melissa de la Cruz’s book of the same name, the series follows Ormond playing a woman named Joanna Beauchamp who seems to be living a normal life with her two daughters except that she’s hiding a secret from them that they are all witches. An alum of both television and film, Ormond has been featured in the series “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” and “Mad Men” as well as recent film such as “My Week With Marilyn” and “The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button”. She is repped by Gersh.

Sterling Sulieman is set for a recurring role on NBC’s THE NEW NORMAL, a show that revolves around a gay couple having a baby via a surrogate mother. Sulieman will play a right-wing EMT brother of the assistant for Rocky, one half the gay couple. Sulieman is repped by Amsel, Eisenstadt & Frazier and currently stars on “Pretty Little Liars”.

Taylor Schilling has been cast in the lead female role for the Netflix series ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK, the latest from “Weeds” creator Jenji Kohen. The drama will feature Schilling as Piper, a young woman in Brooklym whose ten-year relationship with a drug runner lands her in prison where she learns to adapt to a new way of life. The project will be produced by Lionsgate TV and distributed by Netflix. Schilling has made marks for herself in the TV series “Mercy” and the Nicholas Sparks adaptation “The Lucky One” opposite Zac Efron. Schilling is repped by Gersh.
