Miller is set to play a widow who is unaware of her late husband’s affair with Yunjin Kim’s (“Lost”) character. Miller was recently seen in the acclaimed TNT drama “Men of a Certain Age” and “The Artist”, which won the Academy Award for Best Picture.

AMC

is in talks to star in the AMC pilot , a U.S. adaptation of the British mini-series in which Strong starred. Strong would play Frank Agnew, a Detroit detective who kills a fellow cop, an action which forever changes his life and pulls him deep into the Detroit underworld. Strong gained strong critical praise for his performance in the original mini-series and will next be seen in Kathryn Bigelow’s “Zero Dark Thirty”, which portrays the killing of Osama bin Laden.

CBS

Chris Smith and have been cast as the leads in the comedy pilot EX-MEN, from “How I Met Your Mother” executive producer Rob Greenberg. Smith will play a guy who, after getting jilted at the alter, moves into a housing complex where he befriends a group of divorced men, learning the hard way about life and why some relationships just aren’t meant to be. Smith is best known for his starring role in “Paranormal Activity 3” and has also appeared on “30 Rock” and “The Office.” Penn will play Gil, who lives in said complex while waiting for his girlfriend to forgive him for having the world’s worst affair. The continues CBS’s relationship with Penn, who recurred in the most recent season of “How I Met Your Mother.” Penn is also well known for starring in the “Harold and Kumar” films and for a starring role in two seasons of “House.”

has been added as a major recurring character for the fifth season of the hit procedural drama . Her character will be Senior FBI Agent Alexa Schulz, an alpha female with an extremely fierce, quick-witted personality. Walker is best known for her starring role in “Rome”, for which she earned a Golden Globe nomination. She has since appeared in several high-profile films, such as “Clash of the Titans” and “John Carter”, as well as starred in Syfy’s “Caprica.”

is set to co-star opposite Rob Greenberg and Chris Smith in the new pilot EX-MEN, which centers on a young guy (Smith) who finds camaraderie living among the more experienced guys he meets in a short-term rental complex.

FOX

will stick around for the fourth season of , having been upped to series regular. Playing glee club member Sam Evans, Overstreet began his tenure as a recurring character in the second season, but left the show before season three when he was not offered regular status. He then returned as a recurring character halfway through the third season.

has joined the midseason comedy as a regular. The show will focus on a group of siblings (played by Becki Newton, T.J. Miller and Scott Foley) who are forced to come together and play games in order to receive their late father’s fortune. Foster will play the role of Lucinda, the childhood sweetheart of Foley’s character. Foster is best known for her supporting role in “Til Death”, and has also had roles in “Weeds”, “Royal Pains” and “Franklin & Bash.”
