Colin O’Donoghue will play Captain Hook in the second season of ONCE UPON A TIME. The addition of the recurring character was teased at by series creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis at Comic-Con this last year. O’Donoghue recently appeared in the horror film “The Rite” with Anthony Hopkins, and recently filmed a pilot for ABC which was not picked up. He is repped by UTA and Alchemy Entertainment.
Jessica Parker Kennedy and Jason Thompson will take on roles in the teen series 90210. Kennedy will play a recurring role as Megan, a girl-next-door type in group therapy. This marks her return to the CW after co-starring in “The Secret Circle”, which was cancelled after one season. She has also appeared in “Smallville” and “Lie to Me”, as well as the films “50/50” and “In Time”. She is repped by Gersh and Armada Partners. Thompson will guest star in the third episode as Detective Eugene Thompson who is working on a top secret case. Thompson has been a regular on “General Hospital” for several years as Doctor Patrick Drake. He is repped by Innovative Artists and Wishlab.
In continuing its second season reboot of the series, TOUCH is adding Lukas Haas to its cast as a genius who is working with Aster Corps, the corporation that is after Jake. Haas was recently seen in “Inception”, “Red Riding Hood” and “Contraband”. He is repped by Innovative Artists.
THE FOLLOWING will add Annie Parisse to its cast as a series regular. She will play Debra Parker, a cult specialist who is brought in by the FBI to lead the investigation into the cult that a deranged serial killer (James Purefoy) has attracted online. Parisse is most well known as ADA Alexandra Borgia on “Law & Order”, and she has also had arcs on “Person of Interest”, “Rubicon” and “Unforgettable”. She is repped by Gersh.
Paul McDonald will play a recurring role on PARENTHOOD as a musician who Amber (Mae Whitman) becomes attracted to. This will be McDonald’s acting debut after his eighth place finish during the tenth season of “American Idol”. He is repped by Paradigm.
David Denman will reappear on the ninth season of THE OFFICE as Roy, Pam’s former fiancee. Denman was a regular on the show for three seasons before his character was fired. Since then, Denman has starred on the short-lived “Traffic Light” and appeared on “Brothers & Sisters” and “Drop Dead Diva”. He is repped by UTA and Hofflund/Polone.
Natasha Lyonne will make an appearance in the series finale of WEEDS. It’s unknown what character she will play, as the finale is being kept as secret as possible. Lyonne is most known for her role in the “American Pie” film series, but she has recently made appearances on “New Girl” and ” Law & Order: SVU.” She is repped by APA and 3 Arts Entertainment.
ROYAL PAINS is bringing Mexican actor Khotan in for a five-episode arc as Rafa, an underwear model and love interest of Divya (Reshma Shetty). Most well known for roles in “Perro Amor” and “Sexo Debil”, this will be Khotan’s first English-speaking role. He is repped by Stellar Talent Agency and NCM Productions.
