Amy Irving and Ken Leung have joined the cast of ZERO HOUR in a recurring roles. The series follows a man who, after spending twenty years as the editor of a skeptic magazine, becomes embroiled in a massive conspiracy. Irving will play a seemingly innocent and normal mother who is quite the opposite. Leung will play Father Reggie, a priest who knows more than meets the eye. Irving is repped by TalentWorks and Leung is repped by Hartig-Hilepo Agency.
Charlie Hofheimer has secured a recurring role on PRIVATE PRACTICE. He will play a man whose daughter goes missing from the hospital. He recently starred in “Cold Case”, “Mad Men” and “The Good Wife” and is repped by Innovative Artists.

Olivia Cooke has landed a starring role in the “Psycho” prequel series BATES MOTEL, which chronicles a young Norman Bates relationship with his mother. Cooke will play a teen with a potentially fatal disease that cases her to life her life without limits, often exploring and acting eccentric. She is repped by Gersh.

Hugh Bonneville will play the titular role in MR. STINK, an adaptation of a children’s novel of the same name by David Walliams. Teh project follows a lonely twelve-year-old girl who befriends a drifter (Bonneville), but must keep her friendship with him a secret from her family. Bonneville currently stars in the acclaimed series “Downton Abbey” and will next be seen in the drama “Lollipop”. He is repped by UTA and Gordon and French.

Amanda Lund has joined the cast of the comedy series FRIEND ME. The show follows two best friends (Nicholas Braun and Christopher Mintz-Plasse) who leave Indiana to take on jobs in Los Angeles. Lund will play the female lead Amanda Baxter, who’s new to LA and recovering from a break-up. Lund was recently in the film “Take Me Home” and will next star in “Someone Marry Barry”. She is repped by WME.

Harrison Thomas will star in BANSHEE as a character named Jason Hood. he was last featured in “Fringe” and “House” and is repped by Global Artists Agency.

Diane Kruger has been tapped to star in the female lead in the pilot for THE BRIDGE. The project follows two detectives on opposite sides of the US-Mexico border, who work together to track a serial killer committing murders in both countries. Kruger will play El Paso detective Sonya North. Kruger recently starred in the films “Farewell My Queen” and “Unknown” and will next be seen in “Fly Me To The Moon” and “The Host”. She is repped by Ken McReddie Associates, UBBA and UTA.

WITCHES OF EAST END has added Patrick Heusinger, Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Rachel Boston to its cast. The project follows a woman (Julia Ormond), who has been keeping a secret from her daughters (Boston and Dewan-Tatum): That they are witches. Heusinger will play Dewain-Tatum’s fiance. Heusinger, who recently starred in “Black Swan” and will next be seen in “Frances Ha”, is repped by Gersh. Dewan-Tatum is perhaps best known for her starring role in the dance pic “Step Up”, where she met her husband Channing Tatum. Boston, who is also repped by Gersh, has had past roles in “Rules Of Engagement”, “Castle” and “In Plain Sight”. She will next be seen in the drama film “Black Marigolds”, which she is also producing.

COMMUNITY has cast James Brolin as Jeff Winger’s (Joel McHale) dad. Winger’s father was often mentioned in the comedy series but will finally be seen in the upcoming season. Brolin, Josh Brolin’s father, recently starred in the film “Love, Wedding, Marriage” and will next be seen in “Angel Camouflaged”. He is repped by ICM.

“That 70’s Show” alum Laura Prepon will star in the upcoming drama ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK. Created by Jenji Kohan and starring Taylor Schilling, the project follows a woman named Piper (Schilling) who is spending time in prison after her drug-runner boyfriend is arrested. Prepon will star as a former drug-runner herself and the main reason Piper ends up in jail. Jason Biggs will also star as Piper’s fiance. Since starring in “That 70’s Show”, Prepon has had roles on “How I Met Your Mother”, “Medium” and “House” and will next be seen in the film “The Kitchen”. she is repped by Gersh.

James Caan And Esai Morales have been added to the cast of the drama MAGIC CITY. The series follows a hotel owner forced to make a deal with a local mob boss. Caan will play a character named Sy Berman, a Chicago mob boss. Morales will play Carlos Ruiz, a former rebel who fought alongside Fidel Castro who now fights against Cuba. Caan is repped by CAA and Morales is repped by Innovative Artists.

Annie Potts has joined the cast of the comedy pilot PAGING DR. FREED opposite Kyle Howard and Joel David Moore. The project centers on two gynecologist brothers who take on their late father’s medical practice. Potts will play the brothers’ overbearing, extremely hard mother who despises Moore’s character’s wife. Potts is currently starring on the NBC comedy “Animal Practice” after recent roles in the Hallmark TV movie “The Music Teacher” and ABC’s “GCB”. Dorian Missick will also star in a recurring role as an anesthesiologist and a friend of the brothers. He currently stars in the TV series “Haven” and he and Potts are both repped by Innovative Artists.
