Cicely Tyson will guest star on ABC’s HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER. The crime drama from Shonda Rhimes follows a group of ambitious law students and their brilliant criminal defense professor who become involved in a twisted murder plot that promises to change the course of their lives.
Gina Torres has been tapped for a recurring role on the second half of the fourth season of REVENGE. The drama centers on an emotionally troubled young woman makes it her mission to exact revenge against the people who wronged her father. Torres will play Natalie Walsh, a socialite. Nicholas Gonzalez will guest star on THE FLASH. He is set to appear in episode 16, titled “Rogue Time,” as Dante, the older, charming and savvy brother of Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes). He is repped by Pakula/King & Associates and LINK Entertainment.

Ana Gasteyer and Anthony Edwards are joining the cast of the fourth season of the dramedy GIRLS. They are set to play the parents of Shoshanna Shapiro (Zosia Mamet), with whom they don’t have the best relationship. Gasteyer is repped by Paradigm and Circle of Confusion. Edwards is repped by Gersh and Lovett Management.
Da’vine Joy Randolph & Sheaun McKinney have joined the HBO series VICE PRINCIPALS. From Danny McBride and Jody Hill, the 18-episode comedy series centers on a high school and the people who almost run it: the vice principals. Randolph will play the new principal at the high school, Dr. Belinda Brown. She is repped by Paradigm and Lighthouse Entertainment. McKinney has been tapped to play Dayshawn, a cafeteria worker. Sarah Silverman will star in a UNTITLED LUCY PREBBLE COMEDY, from Secret Diary Of A Call Girl creator Lucy Prebble. The series is being described as comedic look at a pathologically honest woman having a modern mid-life crisis. Silverman is repped by CAA and Thruline Entertainment.

Giacomo Gianniotti has signed on to the Lifetime miniseries MARILYN, about Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe. The four-hour biopic explores the late star’s family life and how she succeeded in hiding from an all-too-invasive world. Gianniotti will play Los Angeles detective who was once married to the actress. He is repped by the Characters Agency and Thruline Entertainment.

Manu Bennett (Arrow) will co-star in the upcoming fantasy series SHANNARA. Adapted Terry Brooks’ novels, the 10-episode series takes place in a world set thousands of years after the destruction of civilization as we know it and follows the Shannara family, who are able to tap into ancient magic and whose adventures help reshape the world’s future. Bennett will play Allanon, a druid who is the last of his kind in the world. He is repped by Don Buchwald & Associates and Intellectual Artists Management.

Amber West will star in the comedy GO JERROD GO from writers Jerrod Carmichael and Nick Stoller. Inspired by Carmichael’s stand-up the multi-cam comedy follows a young couple, Jerrod and Maxine (West), who decide to move in together, but when it comes time to tell Jerrod’s parents, he finds every reason in the world to hold off on breaking the news to them. West is repped by UTA and Red Baron Management.
Loretta Devine has also joined the cast of GO JERROD GO. She will play Jerrod’s mother. She is repped by Innovative Artists and Essential Talent Management.

Christina Hendricks will star in the hourlong comedy pilot ROADIES opposite Luke Wilson and Imogen Poots. Written, directed, and executive produced by Cameron Crowe, the show follows the day-to-day life of a successful rock tour as seen through the eyes of the crew members who help get the show on the road. Winnie Holzman and J.J. Abrams executive produce. She is repped by ICM and LINK Entertainment.

Mo McRae has signed on to MURDER IN THE FIRST. The drama, from Steven Bochco and Eric Lodal, centers on single murder case that is dissected from the committing of the crime through to the investigation, arrest and trial. He is set to play a character named Malcolm “Suger” Monroe, a gangster boss and unofficial mayor of the projects. McRae is repped by CAA and Untitled Entertainment.
Neil Jackson has joined the TNT pilot LUMEN. The fantastical drama centers on the famous author of a best-selling series of fantasy books who suddenly disappears, and a family of four finds themselves transported to the mystical alternate world that inspired her work. Jackson will play Prince Dai of Lumen, who also happens to be the long lost husband and father of the family. He is repped by Paradigm and Untitled Entertainment.

Hemky Madera will star opposite Alice Braga in the pilot QUEEN OF THE SOUTH, an English-language adaptation of Telemundo’s blockbuster 2011 telenovela La Reina Del Sur. The drama centers on Teresa Mendoza, a woman forced to go on the run when her drug-dealing boyfriend is unexpectedly murdered in Mexico. Madera is repped by Clear Talent Group and Luber Roklin Entertainment.
