Famke Janssen (X-Men) has been cast in a multi-episode arc in HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER. She will play a brilliant defense attorney, deadly serious about her job. Janssen is repped by ICM and Brookside Artist Management.

Brent Sexton (The Killing) has joined the cast of drama series BOSCH. He will play a former police detective, forced to leave the department, with a long history with Titus Welliver’s Bosch. Sexton is repped by Greene & Associates Talent Agency and Trademark Talent.
Kahane Cooperman will join Amazon’s new docu-series THE NEW YORKER PRESENTS as its showrunner and executive producer. She previously worked on The Daily Show With Jon Stewart.
Tig Notaro is set to star in a new comedy series loosed based on the stand-up’s life. She will share co-writing duties with Diablo Cody and the two will executive produce along with Louis C.K. Notaro is repped by Integral Entertainment. C.K. is repped by 3 Arts Entertainment and APA. Cody is repped by WME and MXN Entertainment.

Robert Redford’s docu-drama THE WEST has landed a straight-to-series order. The network ordered eight one-hour episodes of the series, which explores the aftermath of the Civil War and Western legends Jesse James, Billy the Kid, Wyatt Earp, Crazy Horse, and Sitting Bull. Redford will executive produce. He is repped by WME.

Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife) will join the cast of BROOKLYN NINE-NINE. She will play Lieutenant Knox, a police officer who has her eye on Joe Lo Truglio’s Detective Boyle and is set to appear in the second episode of the upcoming third season. Panjabi is repped by Gersh.

Danish helmer Kristoffer Nyholm has signed on to direct the first half of TABOO, an eight-part event series that stars Tom Hardy as a 19th century Londoner struggling to build a shipping empire while at the same time avenging his father’s death. The series will air in 2016 on FX and BBC in the U.K. Nyholm is repped by United Agents and Lindberg Management.

Edi Gathegi (X-Men: First Class) has been cast as a villain in the upcoming third season of THE BLACKLIST. He will play Mr. Solomon, a fixer for the Cabal and will first appear in the season’s premiere. Gathegi is repped by ICM and Framework Entertainment.

Ben Koldyke has been cast on the third season of MASTERS OF SEX. He will recur as a football coach who moves next door to Michael Sheen’s character. Koldyke is repped by Gersh and More/Medavoy.

Antonio Banderas will star in drama series HAVANA QUARTET, based on Leonardo Padura’s popular detective series. Banderas is repped by Paradigm.

Michael Weatherly and writer Alexis Jolly have sold a drama series based on Louisa May Alcott’s 1868 novel LITTLE WOMEN. Said to be a gritty adaptation of the classic book, this marks one of the first script buys of the 2015-2016 development season. Weatherly is repped by Anonymous Content. Jolly is repped by APA.

Ellen Barkin and Scott Speedman have been cast as leads in new drama pilot ANIMAL KINGDOM. The pilot is an adaptation of the 2010 Australian feature of the same name. Barkin is repped by CAA and Untitled Entertainment. Speedman is reppped by UTA and Circle of Confusion.
