Pixar’s THE GOOD DINOSAUR has gone through a Jurassic-sized amount of production issues. Originally due for release in 2014, director Bob Peterson left the project, despite full casting. With new helmer Peter Sohn came a completley new take, moving the film to a November 2015 release.
Pixar has now announced a new voice cast for the animated adventure, which follows an Apatosaurus named Arlo, who makes an unlikely human friend while traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape.
Raymond Ochoa – (NBC’s The Night Shift, Rizzoli & Isles,) voices Arlo.
Jeffrey Wright – (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Boardwalk Empire) voices of Poppa, Arlo’s father.
Frances McDormand – (Olive Kitteridge, Fargo) voices of Momma, Arlo’s mother.
Steve Zahn – (Ridiculous Six, Rescue Dawn, Mad Dogs) voices Thunderclap.
Sam Elliott – (Justified) voices a tough T-Rex named Butch.
Anna Paquin – (True Blood, X-Men)voices a T-Rex called Ramsey.
AJ Buckley – (Justified, Murder in the First) voices a T-Rex called Nash.
Marcus Scribner – (Black-ish) voices Arlo’s brother Buck.

The previous voice cast consisted of Raising Hope‘s Lucas Neff as Arlo, John Lithgow and McDormand as his parents, Bill Hader and Neil Patrick Harris as Arlo’s brothers, and Judy Greer as a character named Ivy. McDormand is the only member of the original cast to resume her role.
