Portia de Rossi has signed on for a multi-episode arc on the upcoming season of SCANDAL. De Rossi’s wife Ellen DeGeneres announced the role on twitter and while there’s no word yet on who she might be playing, and with a show like “Scandal,” De Rossi really could be anyone. The third season of the series ended in a bit of an uproar for everyone, with Fitz finding out Mellie’s secret, the terrible tragedy that happened with their son, and Olivia makes a tough decision about her future. De Rossi is well known for her TV roles, most notably in the Fox/Netflix crossover series “Arrested Development.” Prior to that, she starred as Nelle Porter on “Ally McBeal” and as Olivia Lord on “Nip/Tuck.” De Rossi’s next project is comedy “Now Add Honey,” which centers on a family whose life is turned upside down after their pop star cousin comes to town.
