“White House Down” follows Channing Tatum as a Secret Service agent who must save the president when terrorists take over the White House. Lefevre will star as Tatum’s ex-wife. The film will also star Maggie Gyllenhaal, James Woods, Jamie Foxx and Richard Jenkins.
Screenwriter James Vanderbilt and director Roland Emmerich will produce with Brad Fischer, Laeta Kalogridis, Harald Kloser and Larry J Franco.
“Homefront stars Jason Statham as an ex-DEA agent who must fight for his family’s life against a local drug trafficker (James Franco) when they move to a small town. Lefevre will play the local school’s psychologist who tries to warn Statham and his family about the dangers of the town.
Sylvester Stallone, who wrote the script, will produce with Kevin King Templeton.
Lefevre is perhaps best known for playing the villainous Victoria in “Twilight” and “New Moon”. She has also been featured in the TV shows “A Gifted Man”, “Swingtown” and “What About Brian”. She is repped by WME and Edna Talent Management.
