British actor Ralph Fiennes is in talks to join Wes Anderson’s next film, THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL.
Story is kept under wraps but will be a European story drawing from Anderson’s own experiences living in France. Fiennes would play the role of M. Gustave, the hotel’s perfectly composed concierge.
Producing will be Wes Anderson, Steven M. Rales and Scott Rudin.
Fiennes, known to many as the evil Lord Voldemart in the “Harry Potter” series (and few as Harry from “In Bruges”) has most recently starred in action pics “Wrath of the Titans” and “Coriolanus”. He’ll be seen next in the new 007 film “Skyfall” and “The Invisible Woman”.
He is repped by CAA.
