Randall Einhorn has inked a deal to direct the second season of SundanceTV’s THE RED ROAD. He will also executive produce the drama, which centers around a small town sheriff struggling to hold his family together while simultaneously working keep his town and the neighboring Ramapo Mountain Indians community from destroying each other.
Einhorn is familiar with the TV landscape. He most recently directed the final season of the dark comedy “Wilfred,” which stars Elijah Wood and Jason Gann as manic depressive man (Wood) who is the only one who can see his neighbor’s dog (Gann) as a full grown man in a dog suit. Einhorn also just directed several episodes of “Fargo” and before that he helmed episodes of “Parks and Recreation” and “The Office.” Next up for Einhorn is the FX TV movie “Death Pact,” starring Jessica Pimentel and Tracy Morgan.
