As DC Entertainment walks away from the polarizing remnants of Suicide Squad, they continue to forge ahead with their slate of movies including THE FLASH, which will include an appearance from the seldom seen hero Cyborg, played by Ryan Fisher.
Warner Bros. recently announced that the half-machine/half-man will pop up in the Rick Famuyiwa-directed flick starring Ezra Miller as the titular fast-moving hero as well as Dope actor Kiersey Clemons.
This will not be the first time we have seen Cyborg, but he is probably the least known of the DC heroes to mainstream audiences. We were first introduced to him in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and got a better look at him in the Justice League footage shown at Comic-Con. His appearances in Justice League and The Flash are most likely intended to pique interest for the character’s standalone film in 2020.
Fisher is best known as a stage actor. He appeared William Shakespeare’s Macbeth and played Muhammad Ali in the 2013 Off-Broadway production of Fetch Clay, Make Man. Batman v Superman marked his feature film debut.
He is repped by ICM Partners, Brookside Artist Management, and Innovative Artists.
