Reese Witherspoon and Robin Wright Team for “First Women” Series

, under her Pacific Standard banner, and Spotlight producer are developing a television adaptation of by House of Cards’ First Lady is set to direct and executive produce the project.

The book, whose full title is First Women: The Grace & Power of America’s Modern First Ladies is an intimate look at the First Ladies from Jackie Kennedy to Michelle Obama. The book was published on April 12 by HarperCollins, with the paperback set for a January 2017 release.

’s Michael Sugar, Ashley Zalta, and Doreen Wilcox-Little are also going to be executive producing with Bruna Papandrea of Pacific Standard.
