Richard Brake and Clive Russell have joined the cast of the Chris Hemsworth led THOR: THE DARK WORLD (aka THOR 2).
The project is keeping its story relatively closely guarded but it will follow Thor as he explores the nine worlds with Odin. Brake will play a captain in the Einherjar, an elite group of warriors who fight alongside Thor in the comics. Russell will play Tyr, another of Thor’s older brothers and Asgard’s god of war. Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins and Stellan Skarsgard will be reprising their roles in the sequel.
Ari Arad and Kevin Feige will produce.
Brake recently starred in “Legacy”, “Water For Elephants” and “The Incident” and will next be seen in “Nocturne”.
Russell last starred in the horror-thriller “The Wicker Tree” and will next featured in the third season of HBO’s hit show “Game Of Thrones”.
