“West Wing” actor Richard Schiff has boarded the films KILL THE MESSENGER, EXPLOSION and THE AUTOMATIC HATE.
“Messenger” is the true story of Gary Webb, an investigative reporter in the 1980″²s who published the truth about the CIA’s secret alliance with Nicaraguan drug dealers during the Iran-Contra Affair only to be discredited by his peers. Schiff will play the editor at the Washington Post.
“Explosion” centers on a seventeen-year-old whose plan to come out to his parents during a family reunion goes horribly wrong when his 9-year-old cousin accuses him of molesting her. Schiff will play the boy’s father.
“The Automatic Hate” centers on a Yale professor (Schiff) who has a younger brother he has kept secret for thirty years.
This year Schiff has appeared in “Decoding Annie Parker”, “Beach Pillows” and “Man of Steel.” He is repped by IFA Talent Agency.
