A24 is currently in final negotiations with Riley Keough to step into the female lead role opposite Andrew Garfield in the Los Angeles-set noir crime thriller UNDER THE SILVER LAKE written and helmed by It Follows director David Robert Mitchell.
Details about the film are being kept under wraps, but the project will be produced by Michael De Luca, Chris Bender, Jake Weiner, and Adele Romanski. Lucy Kitada is overseeing for Michael De Luca Productions. Filming is slated to begin at the end of the summer in L.A.
Keough was recently seen in the film festival favorite American Honey starring Shia LaBeouf. She also stars in the critically acclaimed Showtime series The Girlfriend Experience. Her other credits include Mad Max: Fury Road and Magic Mike. She recently landed a role in Steven Soderbergh’s heist pic Logan Lucky and can be seen next in It Comes at Night with Joel Edgerton and the mystery Welcome the Stranger.
