Rita Ora has joined the cast of FIFTY SHADES OF GREY alongside Dakota Johnson, Jennifer Ehle, Jamie Dornan, Luke Grimes, Victor Rasuk, Eloise Mumford and Max Martini. The story follows innocent Anastasia Steele (Johnson) who becomes sexually involved with wealthy entrepreneur Christian Grey (Dornan), a man with a severe sexual appetite for bondage and sadism. Ora will play Mia, the adopted sister of Grey.
Mark Bomback polished/wrote the latest draft of the script that Patrick Marber worked on before him and that Kelly Marcel originally penned. Sam Taylor-Johnson will direct while Michael De Luca, Dana Brunetti and author EL James will produce.
Ora is a British singer who’s starting to branch out into the film world. She had an uncredited role in “Fast & Furious 6” and has also appeared in 2004’s “Spiv.”
She is repped by CAA.
