Co-created by Andrew Lenchewski, who co-wrote the pilot with Aaron Tracy, The Tap follows the most famous secret society in American college history, Yale’s Skull and Bones. Set in 1969, the drama takes place during the height of America’s cultural and political revolution — a time when the campus is being upended by antiwar protests, race riots and the arrival of its first female students.
Woodell will play Jay Butler, who’s looking to secure future by joining Skull and Bones. He is repped by Innovative Artists.
The Starz miniseries THE WHITE PRINCESS has tapped Amy Manson, Andrew Whipp, and Patrick Gibson for their cast while Alex Kalymnios is set to direct three episodes of the 8-episode series.
Kalymnios is repped by Curtis Brown Group and Gersh.
Whipp will paly Richard Pole, supporter and former soldier of Henry VII, whose marriage to Elizabeth’s cousin Margaret Plantagenet (Rebecca Benson) reinforces the alliance between the Houses of York and Lancaster under Tudor rule. He is repped by Clarence Conway and Independent Talent Group.
Gibson is set to play “The Boy”, the love interest of Catherine and a young man who is looking to stir things up by claiming to be Prince Richard of York, rightful heir to the throne and Elizabeth’s long lost brother. He is repped by A.R.G.
