Robert Knepper is the latest to be added to star in the Tom Cruise vehicle, JACK REACHER: NEVER GO BACK. The Paramount follow-up to the 2012 action movie based on the books by British author Lee Child. Knepper steps into the role of General Harkness a retired military man who is now the CEO of a private military contractor firm. His character is a man of authority who sees himself a hero and will stop at anything to do what’s necessary.
Cobie Smulders, Robert Catrini, Danika Yarosh, Aldis Hodge, Patrick Heusinger, Holt McCallany and Austin Hebert have also been cast in the sequel. The movie will be helmed by Skydance Productions and TC Productions. Edward Zwick is set to direct the script penned by Richard Wenk and Marshall Herskovitz.
Knepper’s movie credits include The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 & 2, Hitman as well as the upcoming Hard Target 2. He has also had television roles in Carnivale, Prison Break, Heroes and can next be seen on Showtime’s reboot of David Lynch’s cult classic, Twin Peaks.
