Mary-Louise Parker, Ashley Benson, Chris Noth, and Shiloh Fernandez have joined the cast of CHRONICALLY METROPOLITAN. The drama, written by Nicholas Schutt and directed by Xavier Manrique, follows a young writer returning home for a family emergency who finds out that his ex-girlfriend, the inspiration for his latest book, is getting married to someone else. Fernandez is set to play the young novelist while Benson is on board as his ex-girlfriend. Parker and Noth are attached as Fernandez’s parents.
Parker starred on Showtime’s Weeds and was last seen in the comedy Behaving Badly with Selena Gomez. Benson stars on ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars and will next be seen in Columbia Pictures’ sci-fi comedy Pixels. Parker is repped by WME. Benson is repped by CAA and LBI Entertainment.
Noth, of Sex and the City fame, stars opposite Julianna Margulies on the CBS drama The Good Wife. He can be found in the upcoming comedy After the Ball, a retail fairy tale set in the world of fashion. Fernandez stars in the thriller Return to Sender, about a nurse living in small town who goes on a blind date with a man who is not the person he says he is. He’ll next be seen in the drama We Are Your Friends with Zac Efron. Noth is repped by Gersh and Sanders Armstrong Caserta Management. Fernandez is repped by WME and Untitled Entertainment.
