Jake Szymanski has been tapped to rewrite and direct the already in active development remake of EAT MY DUST for producers Ron Howard and Brian Grazer. The director who has made quite a name for himself over the years with some heavyweight comedy videos premiering on Funny or Die, will make his feature debut with this comedy remake, about a car-crazy teen who steals a race car driver’s souped-up car to impress a hot girl, and ends up in a high speed car chase, without realizing it.
