ABC has given a put pilot commitment to an adaptation of Dan Brown’s DIGITAL FORTRESS. The series, from Brian Grazer and Ron Howard’s Imagine TV and 20th Century Fox TV, is a thriller, which centers on a Snowdon-type character who threatens to reveal government secret to the highest bidder while a female cryptographer and her team race to stop him before it’s too late. Josh Goldin and Rachel Abramowitz penned the script, which is based on Dan Brown’s bestselling novel.
Grazer and Howard’s Imagine Entertainment is the company behind the film adaptations of Brown’s novels: “The DaVinci Code” and “Angels & Demons.” They’re also bringing two more of his novels, “The Lost Symbol” and “Inferno” to the big screen.
