Ron Livingston is set to play Paul Revere in AMC’s upcoming pilot WE HATE PAUL REVERE. The comedy series follows two brothers in Colonial Boston who feel slighted by all the celebrity surrounding Paul Revere. AMC has given the green light to the half hour comedy that was written by Ethan Sandler and Adrian Wenner. The duo will also executive produce and star as the two disgruntled brothers.
Livingston is known for his comedic roles in “Office Space” and “Swingers” but has more of a dramatic background in TV, having starred in “Band of Brothers” and “Boardwalk Empire.” Of course, he also had an arc as Jack Berger on “Sex and the City,” but at that point it was really more of a dramedy than pure comedy. Livingston’s next role is playing Elvis in Eddie O’Keefe’s drama “Shangri-La Suite,” where a duo of patients escaped from a mental hospital set off to kill Elvis.
