Rooney Mara has joined the cast of the Garth Davis drama LION. She joins Nicole Kidman and Dev Patel in the story following a young Indian boy who takes a wrong train and is accidentally separated from his family, only to be adopted and raised by an Australian couple. Now as an adult, he uses Google Earth to try and find his forgotten family. The film is based on Saroo Brierley’s book A Long Way Home, the true account of his life story.
Known for her starring role in David Fincher’s Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Mara is set to star in the upcoming Drama Blackbird.
