Rosamund Pike has joined the cast of James Mangold’s adaptation of THE DEEP BLUE GOOD-BY, opposite Christian Bale.
Pike will play the female lead in the story following Bale as a self proclaimed salvage consultant that recovers property for people, leading him into a life of intrigue where he crosses paths with dangerous and elusive characters.
Upon the success of Gone Girl, Fox has also tapped Pike for the lead in the upcoming survival drama The Mountain Between Us.
Pike, who was recently nominated for an Oscar for her performance in Gone Girl, will be seen in the upcoming thrillers Return To Sender and The Bends.
Pike is repped by CAA and Magnolia Entertainment.
