The fourth season of the show has seen Gina Rodriguez’s titular Jane rekindle – and then put out – a romance with her first love, Adam (Tyler Poesy), who came back into her life at the end of Season 3. Meanwhile, in the cliffhanger of a midseason final, Rafael (Justin Baldoni) realized he still had feelings for his baby mama and kissed her, in a moment reminiscent of the exes’ first kiss back in Season 1.
Elsewhere, Alba (Ivonne Coll) surprised herself when she turned down a proposal from Jorge, and Xo (Andrea Navedo) and Rogelio (Jaime Camill) dealt with being newlyweds while he co-parented a newborn with his ex, Darcy. And poor Petra (Yael Groblas) continued to be plagued by her evil twin Annezka, who finally died after several false alarms.
