Rosario Dawson has joined the cast of Atom Egoyan’s crime thriller QUEEN OF THE NIGHT (aka CAPTIVE).
The film, which stars Ryan Reynolds, centers on a family that is devastated when their young daughter is kidnapped, but regains hope nine years later when a credible source claims that she is still alive. Reynolds plays the girl’s father and Dawson will star as the lead investigator on the case.
Egoyan, who also wrote the script with David Fraser, will produce with Jennifer Weiss, Simone Urdl and Stephen Traynor.
Dawson has wrapped on her dramas “Parts Per Billion” and “Chavez” and is currently working on Robert Rodriguez’s “Sin City” follow-up “A Dame to Kill For”.
She is repped by CAA.
