I must’ve done something truly marvelous in a previous life because here I am writing about my favorite topic ever, FIFTY SHADES OF GREY! Yay, sarcasm!
Hot on the heels of Universal hiring a new writer and Charlie Hunnam saying “adios!” word is the studio is eyeing Alexander Skarsgard, Jamie Dornan, Theo James and Christian Cooke for the male lead. The story follows innocent Anastasia Steele who becomes sexually involved with wealthy entrepreneur Christian Grey, a man with a severe sexual appetite for bondage and sadism.
Skarsgard is best known as ‘Eric Northman’ on “True Blood.” He also last appeared in “The East” and will soon appear in “Hidden.”
Dornan is currently starring on the thriller series “The Fall” and will soon show up in “Flying Home.”
James last appeared in “Underworld: Awakening” and stars in the upcoming YA adaptation “Divergent” and “London Fields.”
Cooke can be seen currently in “Romeo and Juliet” with “Destination Wedding” soon on the way.
Skarsgard, Dornan are repped by CAA and UTA respectively while James and Cooke are repped by WME.
