One would assume just by the title that Zack Snyder’s BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN would focus on the quarrel between the two titular heroes, but the film will indeed have a regular villain. Callan Mulvey is currently being eyed by Warner Bros. Pictures to fill the role, but which nefarious DC character that is remains to be seen. Rumors surrounding the appearance of Doomsday in the film have run wild across the internet so it’s possible that Mulvey could be voicing the pre-historic Kryptonian killing machine, but then again it’s just a rumor.
Snyder is helming from a script penned by DC Comics-to-movies wizard David S. Goyer. Deborah Snyder and Charles Roven are producing with Christopher Nolan executive producing. Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Diane Lane and Laurence Fishburne will reprise their roles from “Man of Steel” while Ben Affleck stars as Batman and the recently attached Gal Gadot plays Wonder Woman.
Mulvey was last seen in Kathryn Bigelow’s “Zero Dark Thiry” and Daniel Nettheim’s “The Hunter.” He’ll next appear in some larger roles in “Kill Me Three Times”, “300: Rise of an Empire” and “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.” Mulvey is repped by CAA.
