Rumor has it that Lea Seydoux is the top choice to join Daniel Craig for BOND 24. The script recently got a revamp from “Bond” alumni Neal Purvis and Robert Wade and the plan is to start shooting late November of this year with Sam Mendes at the helm. Obviously, Craig is back as “Bond,” along with Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Penelope Cruz, and Ralph Fiennes all reportedly on board to star. Seydoux is rumored to star opposite Craig, as is man of the hour Chiwetel Ejiofor, but nothing has been confirmed on either front yet.
Seydoux is the French actress known best for her roles in “Blue is the Warmest Color,” “Inglorious Basterds,” and “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol,” another high octane action flick, this time opposite Tom Cruise. She also stole scenes in Woody Allen’s time travelling rom-com “Midnight in Paris,” and more recently appeared in Wes Anderson’s “The Grand Budapest Hotel.” Next up, Seydoux is set to star in sci-fi romance “The Lobster.”
Seydoux is repped by CAA, United Agents, and Agence Adequat.
