Word has it that the “wishes it was Marvel” company aka Warner Bros. Pictures is testing/eyeing three females for the untitled Batman / Superman movie. Those three ladies are Gal Gadot, Elodie Yung and Olga Kurylenko. Jaimie Alexander was reportedly on the list until her no competition clause with Marvel ruled her out. They’re up for anything from romantic interests for Batman (Ben Affleck), to playing Wonder Woman or even playing Catwoman as some have theorized. Alas it doesn’t really matter because it’s not a Marvel movie and therefore it’s doomed to fail. I don’t make the rules, that’s just how fate has slated this to play out. (I’m kidding, or am I…?) Maybe they’ll all get roles. That way everyone is happy. Maybe it’ll go by James Bond rules, where one will die, one will betray him and one will… do something that’s not those two options.
Anyhow, Zack Snyder is returning to direct a script by David S. Goyer. Producing will be Deborah Snyder and Charles Roven.
Gadot was last seen in “Fast & Furious 6” and “Fast Five” before that. She’s repped by ICM.
Yung last appeared in “G.I. Joe: Retaliation” and will soon show up in Simon Blake’s “Still” and Justin Trefgarne’s “Narcopolis.” She is repped by Gersh.
Kurylenko was last seen in the bland sci-fi movie “Oblivion” and will soon grace the silver screen in the silly looking “Vampire Academy” and the laughably bad looking “Empires of the Deep.” Fingers crossed! She’s repped by CAA.
