Russell Brand and Rainn Wilson have signed on for the Larry Charles comedy ARMY OF ONE. Nicolas Cage was previously attached to star with Ken Marino, Paul Scheer and Denis O’Hare also on board as new additions. The film is loosely based on a true GQ article written by Chris Heath about Gary Faulkner, and follows a Colorado man, armed with only a pistol and a samurai sword, who sneaks across the Pakistan border to hunt down and kill Osama Bin Laden.
Known for his role in Get Him To The Greek and Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Brand released his most recent stand-up comedy special, titled Russell Brand: Messiah Complex, in 2014.
Known for his role as Dwight on the hit NBC series The Office, Wilson currently stars as the title character on the Fox series Backstrom.
