Joe Russo and Anthony Russo have boarded MGM remake of THE THOMAS CROWN AFFAIR as producers. The Captain America: Civil War directors will join star Michael B. Jordan for the project.
The movie will be the third iteration of the classic heist pic. The 1968 original was directed by Norman Jewison and starred Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway. The 1999 version was helmed by Die Hard director John McTiernan and featured Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo. The forthcoming remake has yet land a director and writer.
The Russo Brothers are a Marvel mainstay, having directed Civil War as well as its predecessor Captain America: Civil War. The two are also slated to direct the massive Marvel two-parter Avengers: Infinity War.
