Fox has made a three-year first look deal with RYAN REYNOLDS’ production company MAXIMUM EFFORT, The Tracking Board has confirmed. The first project Maximum Effort will produce is a live-action film based on the Hasbro board game CLUE, along with Allspark Pictures, the film division of Hasbro.
Reynold’s will develop Clue as a possible starring vehicle for the actor. The Deadpool writing team of Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese will pen the script. Clue is my favorite board game and having one of my favorite actor’s star is delightful news.
Deadpool became the highest grossing film for Fox since Avatar, as it’s $783 million worldwide gross established itself as the highest grossing R-rated film of all time.
The untitled Deadpool sequel, directed by David Leitch is set to open May 18. Reynolds is represented by WME.
