British director Roger Michell has found his leading man in Ryan Reynolds for TRUTH IN ADVERTISING, the actor is in final talks to take on the role. The script comes from John Kenney and is an adaptation of his acclaimed novel of the same name.
The dramedy follows Finbar Dolan, a lost and lonely man who’s life begins to unravel while he’s forced to work double time on a Superbowl diaper ad.
The Solution Entertainment Group are financing alongside Lynn Hendee and William Chartoff. Solution is also handling international sales at AFM with filming set to begin next Spring.
Reynolds starred in this summer’s Self/less and will next be seen in Mississippi Grind and the highly anticipated Deadpool. He is repped by WME.
