Rapper/filmmaker RZA has joined the cast of MR. RIGHT, an action/rom-com penned by Max Landis. Paco Cabezas is directing the film, which centers on a girl who falls in love with a perfect guy whose only flaw is that he kills people for a living. Sam Rockwell and Anna Kendrick star in the project. RZA has been cast as Shotgun Steve, an expert marksman who works for a rival gang.
RZA is probably best known on screen for his role on the Showtime series “Californication,” as well as his roles in “American Gangster” and “Funny People.” Away from the big screen, RZA is the de facto leader of the Wu-Tang Clan and also a respected solo artist. RZA stars on Fox’s recently cancelled “Gang Related” and is set to direct crime/drama “No Man’s Land.”
