Yep, you read that right…raunchy animated comedy SAUSAGE PARTY nabs Salma Hayek. Wait, what were you thinking? Get your mind out of the gutter! The comedy follows a rogue sausage who falls out of a shopping cart and embarks on a journey to make it back to the right aisle before the fourth of July, or never be sold. If that sounds like a spin-off of “Veggie Tales” to you, you couldn’t be more wrong. With Seth Rogan, Jonah Hill and Kristin Wiig all voicing characters, this won’t be your typical cartoon. Hayek will play Teresa the Taco.
Hayek has been making the comedic rounds lately, starring opposite Kevin James in “Here Comes the Boom” and “Grown Ups 2.” Her next starring role will be opposite John Travolta in the adaptation of “A Three Dog Life.”
